Aun Shraideh is a Jordanian artist and designer whose work explores depth, rhythm, and harmony through multi-layered wooden reliefs. Each piece is built up by hand, layer over layer, until light and shadow begin to move across its surface.
As a child he was drawn to anything that demanded thought, patience, and careful assembly — the kind of quiet problems that reward attention. That instinct never left him.

He trained in Industrial Engineering and 3D design, and although his career carried him through technical work, he never stepped away from making art. Over time he developed the layered wooden relief as his own language — a medium that sits exactly where precision meets the hand.
His process values the long, slow build. He works for a balance between digital tools and the small imperfections that make a piece feel alive, letting the material guide the final form.
Nature is his constant reference — trees, botanical motifs, and the natural patterns found in leaves. Away from the workshop he grounds himself in long walks and quiet moments with coffee, the same calm he hopes his work returns to a room.
Above all, he makes work that invites you to get lost in the layers: compositions shaped by patience, persistence, and an unwavering dedication to detail.
